CoverMaker is a true Application Service Provider (ASP) product. It requires no client software to be installed locally and can be accessed from any laptop or personal computer with access to the Internet. The client application is served as standard HTML and is generated via Java Server Pages.
The application resides upon an oracle database, used by most of the large web sites, that provides CoverMaker with its flexibility, scalability and robustness. Built with regular saves to the database, CoverMaker minimises any loss of data if the local Internet connection fails.
The application was analysed and designed using Object Oriented methods and techniques according to Unified Modelling Language (UML) standard and written in Java language.
Client Requirements:
Hardware - the application will run on any local Desktop or Laptop that
has access to the World Wide Web and is capable of running Internet Explorer
5 or higher. The website design is simple with minimal graphics to ensure
fast response time even on a 56k modem.
Software - CoverMaker operates on Internet Explorer 5+ browsers only.Please contact us if you need help on choosing a browser. No other client side software is required
